Happy Birthday to Me?

lol actually it wasn't today, it was on the 28th of March. So yeah, 'twas my birthday so I'm 15 now but I don't feel like I'm 15. Childish as ever, more of a lazyass than when I was still 14, graaah stupid teenage hormones making my life harder orz Lazyass = loses my will to do pretty much everything and it resulted in bad scores for 2 social studies tests (and if you don't know, I don't like studying about them) /evanesco my lazy mood

I had dinner together with my family and my parents bought me an iPod Touch (yea). Finally, an iPod with a screen and it even allows me to access internet so I don't have to abuse my parents' BlackBerry like I usually do. I haven't forgotten my old iPod though and I will probably keep bringing it in long trips in case the iPod Touch's battery is finished.

Anyhow, thank you to all of you who wished me a happy birthday via twitter, facebook, or wherever you wished me happy birthday from. I zetta love you all and thank you very much for the birthday greetings and for remembering that it was my birthday today 8'D Special thanks to Mino this year for her awesome words and drawings. Dudette, your post brings tears to my eyes /sniff ;A; You're one of the people I didn't expect to be close with but I'm glad I can be your friend and I'm sorry about leaving you so fast like that orz BUT-BUT WE SHALL ALWAYS BE AWESOME FRIENDS OKOK /brofist

Enough galau-ing. I need to really evanesco this lazy mood if I want my scores to get better and my roleplaying mood to come back alsdfjsldkfjs;d

My daily routine is getting kind of boring. I think

Okay you know what, can I just say that imageshack is a pain in the ass nowadays for transforming our pictures to frogs in ice cubes? 8| I won't bother re-uploading my pictures here to another imagehosting website, but I'll upload them using something else in the future. Goddamn, me and a couple of my friends raged (not really raged but you get my point) about this because it's very annoying.

So anyhow, it's March now and that means that my birthday will be here soon! Excited? Err idk really, I'm not ready to turn 15 yet and I'm not sure if I will get the present I want from my parents. For me, it's a chance to buy something big and expensive, like gadgets or a big set of books, because usually they won't let me buy it in normal circumstances. This is my birthday, so I'm hoping to get something decent this year. What I want is actually the 64GB iPod Touch because I want to have a portable game-video-song player. My iPod Shuffle isn't capable of playing videos and it has no screen. Plus, I can use the internet if I have an iPod Touch.

Nothing much has happened in my life, just the usual staying at home, going to lessons, or study at home. However, I have found a new source of entertainment which is roleplaying. If you don't know what it is, it's like connecting stories. You post a part of the story from your character's perspective, and then you wait for the reply (continuation) from other characters' perspective. It's really fun in my opinion and I'm getting addicted to it.

Maybe because of theme as well, because the roleplay is set in Hogwarts. Yes it's in Hogwarts, more specifically in the marauders era. That is fun, I tell you. My characters (yes, with an 's') have interacted with a few of the official characters like Sirius and James (and I got pranked by them as well orz) and the classes are actually fun. Even though some of the tasks requires you to make a short essay on a certain topic (like in History of Magic where you have to write an essay on 'Why Wizards Seperate Themselves from Muggles'), it's a lot more fun than having to write an essay for a normal school.

I'm also roleplaying in an Alice Academy based setting (Alice Academy/Gakuen Alice manganime, just google it) and my character is sorted in the laten ability class. But idk the roleplayers aren't really active so I'm not really active there as well.

Bah, or maybe it's just me and Harry Potter 8|

Valentine's and Photography

First of all, happy Valentine's day everyone! For those of you who is single like me, happy single awareness day because we're awesome like that. Actually, I think Valentine's day isn't just for couples. You can show your love to your family, your friends, or even your pet or in my case fictional characters. Whoever the hell you care about should receive your love on that day, not just your crush or your boyfriend/girlfriend. Well, you should always give them your love but since it's Valentine's day so yeah ;

The character in the drawing is Valentine's Day. Yep that's his name for real, 'cause me and a couple of my friends made a 'personify holidays' project and V-day's one of them. He's popular among girls and always carries a red rose wherever he goes. He's also narcissistic when it comes to his looks and is sometimes called a playboy by the other holidays. His girlfriend is White Day but he likes to flirt with other girls as well. But don't worry, V-day really likes White Day and vice versa.

Second of all, I've finally used my camera again after... idk, maybe more than a two months to do a proper photo shoot? Heck, it's not even a proper photo shoot. It's just a random urge to go outside after the rain and to photograph wet plants. Yes I have this thing with wet plants. They're just too good to miss and I've always loved taking pictures of water drops.

what the hell is this 8| composition omg I need to work on that orz

This is better than the previous one but what the hell 8|
The title is 'Hanging Around' btw. Lame title is lame okok orz

The problem is, because I haven't touched my camerafor a while, the photos were unsatisfying 8| What the hell happened to my hand, like seriously? Some of them were blurry (my unsteady hands has become even more unsteady from the lack of practice orz), composition was wtfman, but the colors and lighting were okay I think. Good to know I can still set the camera but I guess this means I need more practice.

writingblock + artblock = asdfjasdl;jk

Sometimes I hate myself for not having the mood and ability to write. There are so many ideas in my head but I just can't write it. By 'I can't write it' I mean I can't write the story or novel, but I can write the plot using spiderwebs or bullet points. Talking about it is easy, but writing about it is hard. I mean, I can imagine loads of scenes in my head but it's difficult for me to transfer it to paper or MS Word.

The same thing goes for drawing, but I guess this is too obvious because you all know how bad I am at drawing. Anatomy goddammit why is it so freakin' hard orz It's getting worse because currently I'm having an artblock and I can't even draw eyes properly asldfkasjdl; I'm loosing my sense of sketching when using a tablet so I'm trying to spend more time with my sketchbook. The problem is the scanner is being repaired and idk when it's coming back. No way I'm gonna scan in the photocopy/scanning shops because it costs a lot.

So anywho, I've been forcing myself to draw with a tablet and the result is this:

Strauss, a character from my novel called 'Stickman Invasion'. Lame name is lame okok But I swear it's about stickmans, hence the title. Strauss is one of my characters here aside from the 2 main characters. And yes, the reason I drew Strauss is because I only have to draw one eye lol He's not emo or something like that, but he covers his right eye because there's a vertical scar there and his right eye is also blind. Why? Not gonna tell you here *trollface*. See this is why I'm dying to get in the mood to continue this story ajskdlf;skd

New style by the way. Uh, it's not actually new. I just erased the base colors and only use the shades on a white background ;; But I'm satisfied with the way it turned out and probably I'll continue using this method when I'm doodle-ing (saves the time because I don't need the base colors lol).

asa is a bookstarfish

Not a bookworm, a bookstarfish. Because starfishes are interesting and less disgusting than worms okok.

It's been a month since I started homeschooling, and I must admit that I do a lot of slacking off and only a bit of studying orz Bad habits die hard. I can't study alone when I'm not in the mood. In the end I'll be looking or learning about random stuff and not learn from the materials given by the school.

Once you get used to it it's not really that boring staying home everyday. Most of the time I sepdn my time online (obviously) or these days I've been trying to finish some books. At the beginning of January I was hyped up about homeschooling because I would have a lot of free time and that means I can do stuff (I think I talked about this before. One of my goals was to finish more books). Well yes, I did buy a few books and borrowed them from my friends but now it's piling up and I'm confused in which ones to read.

Those are the books that's in my waiting list. I'm too lazy to translate the scribblings there, sorry orz Some of them I haven't read, some of them I've finished half, and some of them is almost finished but I'm too lazy to finish them. This is really a bad habit, starting a book without finishing the previous one 8| But idk if I'm reading a book that isn't in my fandom list then I would be a slow reader when reading it. However when I already know the fandom and/or like it then I can finish it fast.

Btw I've finished Neil Gaiman's Stardust. 'Twas a good read, but I wouldn't make it into one of my fandoms. It's not long enough so yeah. The Nicolas Flamel series is nice, but so far I've only finished half of The Alchemyst so I don't really know if I'm going to get into that fandom or not. On the other hand, ASOUE (Unfortunate Events) has been in my list for a long time. I think it was after Harry Potter, about 3 or 4 years ago.

I wonder how long it'll take for me to finish them? I've decided to do a challenge/meme from a certain site. The challenge is to finish 50 books in a year. My plan is to read atleast 4 books in a month, which is quite hard for me because I'm too lazy to do it orz I like books, but sometimes I can't seem to bring myself to read them even though I have nothing to do at that time 8|

Anyhow, for those of you who are also in a reading mode, happy reading!
